SP001 Inspections
Aside from the routine facility inspections, law requires bulk fuel tanks to be non-destructive tested by a certified inspector to check their soundness, as outlined by your facility SPCC plan.
These inspections are designed to detect leaks and integrity or structural issues before a discharge event occurs, determine the storage tanks’ fitness for continued service and any other necessary actions.
